I can totally understand. I feel like whenever I’m addressed by a name other than my own especially by men, I’m conflicted with the feminist in me, and the person that longs to live in a much less impersonal world too. It’s a weird confliction. Like am I supposed to be offended, or not? Sometimes I feel patronized, other times I feel endeared. I think it depends. Totally get this feeling though!
