I sit up, wheezing and coughing sputtered dust bunnies that have leapt from my chest. I was now warming like a steam engine burning fossil fuels and coal after an idle summer. A hazy summer. One full of forgetfulness and sleep. A hot hibernation. Now, unusually, but welcomed-ly active, my heart craves to feel myself again. Where are you self? I have been gone too long. I’m ready to seek you out once again. I’m ready to indulge you once more.
