For folks who are learning about the situation in Detroit and want to help as best they can, the Detroit Water Brigade has set up an Amazon wishlist.  You can buy water and filters to be sent to the Brigade and dispersed to Detroit citizens.  

Some of you might remember that $20 portable water filter that created such a buzz a few weeks ago.  That’s one of their most desired items.

Even if you can’t spend the money, spreading the word and talking about what’s happening, what’s being done to the people of Detroit—it all counts.
